Copywriter (CB162)


Location: Buckinghamshire

Our client is a creative marketing services agency that provides innovative and effective marketing solutions to clients in the technology sector.

They are currently seeking a Senior Copywriter to complement their existing creative team.

Roles and responsibilities

1. To work in partnership with the Creative Director and Head of Art to provide campaign headlines and conceptual copy that works across integrated campaigns including: corporate literature, internal communications, demand generations, customer loyalty and DM, digital media including email, web and video.
2. To have the ability to write detailed accurate body copy that could range from a strategic pitch proposal, an internal sales incentive programme, to a corporate brochure.
3. Ability to confidently present and explain ideas to both an internal and client audience.
4. Ensure deadlines are met for all projects worked on.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

1. 4 or more year’s copywriting experience working within a creative agency (technology focused).
2. The ability to understand and interpret a client brief and conduct research to help aid project understanding.
3. High levels of motivation with a strong sense of belief in creative ideas, plus the skills and confidence to express them.
4. Highly developed organisational and multi-tasking skills.
5. Resilience to rejection and criticism of work.
6. Acute observation and an expert eye for detail.
7. Thorough understanding of online technologies and appreciate the differences between online and offline design.
8. Have a hands-on and ‘can-do’ attitude and be willing to get stuck in!
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
